Strict classic in walrus tusk — handmade, one of a kind, no. 230.
It is recognised at once by its double structure: a dense white outer layer and a core of secondary dentine with a marbled, crystalline grain — this inner pattern is the walrus's signature, by which the material is identified beyond doubt. Strict classic is the benchmark round string with nothing added: even spherical beads of a single calibre set on the cord at equal spacing.
Handmade by Sergey (Dzhentelmen Chetki). It cannot be reproduced exactly. Overall length 22.5 cm, weight 53 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
