Carpet in mammoth ivory — handmade, one of a kind, no. 348.

Care is minimal: protect from sudden humidity swings and direct heat, wipe occasionally with a dry soft cloth, no water or chemicals. We cover the “mammoth ivory” material separately.

Carpet is a string with a richly worked surface covered edge to edge in pattern: the grains are carved or composed so densely that the whole cord reads as a single ornamental cloth, with no empty smooth stretches.

Handmade by Nikolay. It cannot be reproduced exactly. Overall length 21.5 cm, weight 71 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
