Patina builds over time as the bone darkens a little and takes a lived-in honeyed shade where it is held. We cover the “cow bone” material separately.
Carvers favour this cut because it offers two characters at once — the flats catch and return light in even highlights, while the rounded edges stay smooth in the fingers and never bite the skin during a long roll.
Handmade by Zhenya Kartavyh. The only one of its kind. Overall length 22 cm, weight 42.5 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
