In its properties it is close to micarta but denser and more uniform: a thermoplastic composite that does not absorb moisture at all and is unbothered by water, sweat, household chemicals, and temperature swings. Read more about the material on the “juma” page.

Carvers favour this cut because it offers two characters at once — the flats catch and return light in even highlights, while the rounded edges stay smooth in the fingers and never bite the skin during a long roll.
