As befits professional balls, the material was made to endure constant impact without chipping or cracking, so it is dense, hard, and uniform, with rich, often deep and vivid colors inherited from the source balls. We cover the “Samurai billiard ball” material separately.
The format shows best on dense, fairly heavy materials with good momentum — mammoth ivory, dense horn, heavy woods and stone — which take the impact of the flips and deliver that hypnotic run.
