Aramith phenolic resin was engineered to withstand years of heavy impact without chipping or cracking, so the material is exceptionally dense, hard, and uniform. More on the material’s properties in the “Aramith bowling ball” section.

The form shows best on dense, uniform, well-polished materials — mammoth ivory, black ebony, dark horn and tight stone — where each of the six facets holds a flawlessly clean line.
