A particular merit is stability: juma does not build patina in the usual sense, does not cloud or change color over time, staying just as it was on day one, which appeals to those who want an "forever new" look. We cover the “juma” material separately.
Carvers favour this cut because it offers two characters at once — the flats catch and return light in even highlights, while the rounded edges stay smooth in the fingers and never bite the skin during a long roll.
