Aramith phenolic resin was engineered to withstand years of heavy impact without chipping or cracking, so the material is exceptionally dense, hard, and uniform. Read more about the material on the “Aramith bowling ball” page.
The form is best revealed on dense, uniform materials with real texture — stabilised mammoth ivory, ebony, dark horn and tight stone fruit pits — where each facet holds a clean line and polishes a beautiful patina.
Handmade by Sergey (Dzhentelmen Chetki). The only one of its kind. Overall length 21.7 cm, weight 44 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
