Aramith phenolic resin was engineered to withstand years of heavy impact without chipping or cracking, so the material is exceptionally dense, hard, and uniform. We cover the “Aramith bowling ball” material separately.
It is worked freely and fluidly: a round bead rolls easily on the cord and in the fingers, flipping over the hand in a smooth wave with no edges to resist.
Handmade by Ando (Chetki Guys). It cannot be reproduced exactly. Overall length 22 cm, weight 41 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
