In the hand mammoth ivory is noticeably dense and cool at first, but it quickly takes the warmth of the palm, seeming to come alive at the touch. We cover the “mammoth ivory” material separately.

The form shows best on dense, uniform, well-polished materials — mammoth ivory, black ebony, dark horn and tight stone — where each of the six facets holds a flawlessly clean line.

Handmade by Sergey (Dzhentelmen Chetki). It cannot be reproduced exactly. Overall length 21.5 cm, weight 50 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
