Spun, it sounds noble: a deep, bony, quiet click with none of the plastic rattle, carrying a faint dry timbre. We cover the “mammoth ivory” material separately.
Over time the edges ease slightly and the planes take on a deep, finger-loved sheen.
Handmade by Sergey (Dzhentelmen Chetki). It cannot be reproduced exactly. Overall length 22 cm, weight 58 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
