Cushions in argali horn — handmade, one of a kind, no. 852.
By nature it is keratin, as with buffalo, but argali horn is usually denser and lighter in colour, in warm honey-amber and cream tones, often with beautiful natural layering and translucency against the light. More on the material’s properties in the “argali horn” section.
Carvers favour this cut because it offers two characters at once — the flats catch and return light in even highlights, while the rounded edges stay smooth in the fingers and never bite the skin during a long roll.
