  2. 2nd place Pro chooses second.
  3. 3rd place Pro chooses third.

There are 10 prizes in total. After the Pro participants have chosen, 7 prizes remain.

The Expert participants choose next:

  3. 3rd place Expert chooses sixth.

The Guru category follows:

Tournament rules

  1. No more than two cuts

A video may contain no more than two cuts. In other words, the final video may combine a maximum of three separate clips.

  2. Length and format

The video must be between 30 seconds and a maximum of 2 minutes 30 seconds long.

The video must be filmed vertically.

  3. Background

Pay attention to your background. The jury may award an additional point for it.

If there are dirty mattresses and socks scattered in the background, as we sometimes tend to leave them, lads, the jury will notice and take that into account.

A beautiful natural setting or simply a tidy background will also be considered and may positively affect your score.

  4. Speeding up the video is prohibited

Speeding up the video is prohibited. Doing so may result in disqualification or refusal of entry to the tournament.

How to submit your video

  1. Record your video

Record your performance in accordance with all tournament rules.

  2. Edit your video

Prepare the final video, observing the limit of no more than two cuts.

  3. Send the video to Sergey Corsica

Send the finished video to Sergey Corsica, one of the jury members.

    Telegram: @SERGEY_CORSICA

Send the video as a document in Telegram.

Include the name you want to appear with your video.

Do not use just a first name such as “Bogdan”, “Pasha” or “Alexander”. Several participants with the same name would cause confusion.

Include your surname or use a unique nickname, for example: Alexander Bodry.

Your name must be unique and used in exactly the same form on the standings platform.

  4. Upload to YouTube

After receiving the video, Sergey Corsica uploads it to the Rosary Corporation YouTube channel, in the “7th International Worry-Bead Spinning Tournament” playlist.

The participant will then receive a link to their video.

  5. Submit the link to the standings platform

After receiving the YouTube link, the participant opens the standings platform and adds the link to their video.

Judging takes place on the standings platform.

Judging

There are four jury members. Each judge scores a performance on a 10-point scale, with a maximum of 10 points per judge.

Maximum score: 4 judges × 10 points = 40 points.

Participants with more points rank higher; those with fewer points appear lower in the tournament standings.

What affects the score

Every aspect of the performance will be considered:

  • Technique
  • Spinning speed
  • Variety of sets
  • Combinations
  • Flips
  • Background
  • Video quality
  • Bead-spinning proficiency
  • Trick difficulty
  • Difficulty of the bead model used

Carpet, Azerbaijani, Strict Classic, Mosaic and other models!

The score will depend on the difficulty of the tricks and the overall quality of the performance.

I wish everyone worthy opponents and great victories in this tournament!

Keep an eye on this page, as the information will be updated regularly.

Why the tournament needs financial support

The International Worry-Bead Spinning Tournament is an event created and developed through the enthusiasm of the worry-bead community.

The organisers receive no payment for preparing and running the tournament. Makers also voluntarily contribute their handmade beads as gifts and prizes for participants.

The entire event is built on enthusiasm and a desire to develop worry-bead culture, popularise bead spinning and bring together people who share this interest.

Preparing the tournament takes a substantial amount of time from both organisers and makers. All work to organise and run the event is nevertheless done without payment.

This is why financial support from the community is so important. It covers the actual costs of awards, certificates, trophies, medals, shipping gifts and other organisational needs, without placing the entire financial burden on the makers and organisers who already contribute their time, work and personal resources.

By supporting the tournament fund, community members help keep it independent, develop the tournament further and promote worry-bead culture together.
