German colored ebonite (often marked SEM / SEM Hartgummi) is a modern, premium-grade hard rubber that, unlike classic black ebonite, comes in a rich palette: deep burgundy, tobacco, amber, emerald, marbled and multicolored blends. We cover the “German colored ebonite” material separately.
The format shows best on dense, fairly heavy materials with good momentum — mammoth ivory, dense horn, heavy woods and stone — which take the impact of the flips and deliver that hypnotic run.
Handmade by Valentin (V.S.). It cannot be reproduced exactly. Overall length 22.5 cm, weight 28.5 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
