The beads are turned from genuine branded balls, so the material has outstanding density, hardness, and uniformity: Aramith's phenolic resin was engineered to survive millions of impacts without chipping, cracking, or losing its shine. We cover the “Aramith billiard ball” material separately.
Carpet is a string with a richly worked surface covered edge to edge in pattern: the grains are carved or composed so densely that the whole cord reads as a single ornamental cloth, with no empty smooth stretches.
