The story

Hexagonal pogon in German colored ebonite — handmade, one of a kind, no. 263.

German colored ebonite (often marked SEM / SEM Hartgummi) is a modern, premium-grade hard rubber that, unlike classic black ebonite, comes in a rich palette: deep burgundy, tobacco, amber, emerald, marbled and multicolored blends. Read more about the material on the “German colored ebonite” page.

The form shows best on dense, uniform, well-polished materials — mammoth ivory, black ebony, dark horn and tight stone — where each of the six facets holds a flawlessly clean line.

Handmade by Sergey (Dzhentelmen Chetki). It cannot be reproduced exactly. Overall length 21.5 cm, weight 45 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
