Hexagonal pogon in German colored ebonite — handmade, one of a kind, no. 361.

The material turns cleanly and densely, holds sharp facets, and polishes to a deep, saturated shine; the facets often reveal beautiful transitions and veining that are unique to each piece. We cover the “German colored ebonite” material separately.

The form shows best on dense, uniform, well-polished materials — mammoth ivory, black ebony, dark horn and tight stone — where each of the six facets holds a flawlessly clean line.

Handmade by Valentin (V.S.). It cannot be reproduced exactly. Overall length 22 cm, weight 40 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
