The beads are turned from genuine branded balls, so the material has outstanding density, hardness, and uniformity: Aramith's phenolic resin was engineered to survive millions of impacts without chipping, cracking, or losing its shine. The form shows best on uniform, easily carved materials that hold fine relief — mammoth ivory, dense wood, horn and bone — where the carving comes out crisp and patina, over time, underscores every line of the ornament.
