Hexagonal pogon in German colored ebonite — handmade, one of a kind, no. 403.

Care is minimal: wipe with a soft cloth and occasionally a little wax to preserve the depth of color. More on the material’s properties in the “German colored ebonite” section.

The form shows best on dense, uniform, well-polished materials — mammoth ivory, black ebony, dark horn and tight stone — where each of the six facets holds a flawlessly clean line.
