Aramith phenolic resin is all but wear-proof, does not fade, and shrugs off moisture and sweat, so patina is minimal and the look stays pristine; care comes down to a wipe with a cloth and an occasional light polish. We cover the “Aramith billiard ball” material separately.
The format shows best on dense, fairly heavy materials with good momentum — mammoth ivory, dense horn, heavy woods and stone — which take the impact of the flips and deliver that hypnotic run.
Handmade by Ando (Chetki Guys). Made once and never repeated. Overall length 21.7 cm, weight 38 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
