The material turns cleanly and densely, holds sharp facets, and polishes to a deep, saturated shine; the facets often reveal beautiful transitions and veining that are unique to each piece. We cover the “German colored ebonite” material separately.
It is worked freely and fluidly: a round bead rolls easily on the cord and in the fingers, flipping over the hand in a smooth wave with no edges to resist.
Handmade by Egor. Made once and never repeated. Overall length 22 cm, weight 36 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
