Under the single word "wood" lies a whole world of species — from pale juniper and pear to dense tropical and fruit woods — each offering its own color, grain figure, scent, and character. More on the material’s properties in the “exotic wood” section.
The maker carefully balances calibre and the gap between grains: too tight and the flow bogs down, too loose and the rhythm is lost, so well-judged peribory are prized for their measured, almost musical run.
Handmade by Aleksandr (Fusion Chetki). The only one of its kind. Overall length 24 cm, weight 70 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
