By nature it is keratin, the same material as nails and hair, so horn feels alive and warms quickly in the hand. We cover the “buffalo horn” material separately.
The format shows best on smooth, pleasantly gliding, moderately heavy materials — mammoth ivory, amber, polished stone and dense wood — which give a clean run and a long, soothing rhythm.
Handmade by Karen (Laboratoriya Chetok). Made once and never repeated. Overall length 21.5 cm, weight 90 g. This piece is sold; we can craft a similar one to order.
