Model reference

Model: Mini Classic Pogon

Detailed model description

The Mini Classic Pogon consists of three rows: side links known as sleepers and a central link shaped like an inverted cube. Its overall construction resembles a standard Classic Pogon , but in a reduced format. At the same time, the model has the character and handling of Narkomanki .

The overall appearance of the Classic Pogon is fully preserved, while the model is narrower and thinner. It is also distinguished by substantial end pieces like those of Narkomanki .

In essence, the Mini Classic Pogon is a Classic Pogon that retains the construction, link shape and recognizable appearance of the original. At the same time, it adopts the key features of Narkomanki : reduced width, reduced thickness and substantial end pieces.

This combination brings together the appearance of the Classic Pogon with the compactness, speed and convenience of Narkomanki . The result is an entirely new model that has already won the affection of collectors and virtuoso worry-bead spinners.

Model comparison

Features and intended use

The Mini Classic Pogon is an improved version of the original. It looks just as impressive in the hand while spinning considerably faster, more easily and more pleasantly.

If you value a refined appearance, high spinning speed and maximum functionality, the Mini Classic Pogon may be the ideal choice.

Additional information based on collectors’ real-world experience

These models stand out for their neater, more miniature appearance, yet they require considerably more time and labor to make. Despite the reduced width and thickness, the overall length usually remains standard at about 22 centimeters. Because each link is smaller and therefore shorter, the total number of links has to increase.

In fairness, such models should cost more than their standard versions because they represent an improved construction into which the maker invests significantly more work.

For a maker there is an enormous difference between working with an 8×8 millimeter link and a 5×5 millimeter link. In practice, that difference is truly immense.

If you prefer substantial worry beads and the reassuring sensation of weight in the hand, consider a Mini Classic Pogon made from materials such as mammoth ivory , elephant ivory , sperm-whale tooth , hippopotamus tusk , cow bone or walrus ivory.

Heavier materials make such worry beads feel considerably more assured and comfortable in the hand. The Mini Classic Pogon already has a very soft and responsive movement. When made from the materials listed above, it provides not only fast spinning and excellent control but an entirely different level of tactile sensation. Precious natural materials also give the model a special aesthetic character and make it a genuine visual pleasure.

I will repeat what I have said thousands of times in videos and live streams, without exaggeration: organic material cannot be conveyed in words. It has to be held once. Almost every worry-bead collector who owns a piece made from natural organic material would agree.
